The scene appears normal, and your classmates continue to carry on as usual and life goes on. Next to you, calmly doing the assignment that was given by the teacher, is probably the most tactful student of the bunch…

…but did you know about the conversations that are heard inside his head? Yes, people have inner voices, it’s only natural, but the point where it becomes unnatural is the point of insanity. But how do you know when a person’s insane, is it when the voices get too loud? They usually go away when you ask them to, but then they suddenly start to tell you to do things. Bad things, but everyone has the voice, don’t they?

Check the sweat on the student’s brow. Has it suddenly increased or maybe the seemingly natural nerves becomes no less that noticeable. It starts with mild tremors that may look like a natural cold spell. The pulse becomes rapid along with the need to finish the work. It seems as though the work is just “tres dificile and the student is just having trouble. Suddenly and softly, the student starts to mumble words, words inaudible to anyone who wasn’t trying to listen. The student could be saying things like “this is so confusing. I really don’t understand. But there might be a hidden meaning behind those words. Or maybe the student can just be mumbling “shut-up underneath his breath. But we all know what, or who, the student is talking to.

The good student. Too good to be going insane, why don’t you just admit it? All the facts are there. Abruptly and violently the outbursts start. Screaming “Shut-up and leave me alone, at the top of his lungs isn’t exactly normal.
