Well, he didn’t ask me in person, but sure enough I received a “please donate your hard earned money to the John Kerry campaign fund” letter in the mail the other day. Now, after seeing the VH1 Bush v. Kerry bling off, it really puts it in perspective for me.

John Kerry is a fairly wealthy guy - what’s his net worth? Somewhere around the $100 million mark? Now, he’s married to one of the wealthiest women in the world, Teresa Heinz-Kerry, her net worth pulling in at somewhere around $1 billion…my average yearly income is let’s say it’s a fraction of that and he’s asking me to donate to his campaign fund? I’m already voting for the man - now he wants my money too?
