I don’t know why I’m in the mood I’m in, but I’m not complaining :). I was just catching up on the email on one of the lists I subscribe to and I had a thought. Some of those ladies (well, all of those ladies) are awesome and the list is like one big coffee shop - sometimes I think it’s an episode of Sex & the City e-mail style. I would love to meet all of them in person, however, there is one that stands out in particular - I would really love to meet Tee (I wouldn’t mind meeting Leslie too, she’s just too adorable).
People on the list have often confused us because of name similarities. And from the first day I subscribed, we were communicating and exchanging ideas/assistance. She’s one of the sweetest people I’ve had the pleasure to e-communicate with - she was even nice enough to send me samples of her cards which are absolutely gorgeous. My favorite is the kitty hanging from a tree - somehow reminds me of my Little Tiger.
I literally didn’t want to give any of the cards away - but luckily for some close friends and family she gave me duplicates of some of them, otherwise they would have received the generic “Happy Holidays” snowy horizon cards from yesteryear. The remaining cards are in my card collection (yes, I have a card collection).
You can really tell when some people are true gems and I personally think she’s one of them…hard to find nowadays. I was reading her list replies and she is always there to help out and go above and beyond for the other list members, always humble and polite, and I absolutely love her broken English - I can just imagine the accent (and for those of you who don’t know me personally, I absolutely LOVE accents - all kinds, esp. Scottish). If she lived in S. FL, she’d definitely be one of the few peeps I’d like to chill with and have coffee chitchats with.
Anyhoo, that’s all - just felt like spreading some love.

Hehehehhhh. I really like Tee too, Teli. I have to say it’s a long time since I’ve been called “adorable”, but I’ll take it as a compliment.
I live in Scotland, which is maybe why you think I’m special
Don’t have much of an accent though - I’m originally a California girl.
I think of the women on that list as my work collegues. Techically I work alone, but without those folks I wouldn’t be where I am today. ‘Specially you. It’s all your fault I have any clue what I’m doing with CSS.
So there. Tag - you’re it!

Nah - I had no idea you live in Scotland - I knew you have moved to the UK, but never knew where - Scotland - cool though. I thought you were special cuz of your interactions on the list.
I agree with you, that list is indispensable (even when it gets “catty” it’s still cool to watch and learn from).
And I’m glad I could be of assistance - I still remember your first email off list - you really thought I’d be mad huh?
Thanks for helping me spread some love
