Snakes on My Patio
It seems my Little Tiger is all about making new friends and can somehow put the fear of God into any living thing, even a two and a half foot snake.
Here’s what the frightened little guy looked like before my intervention:
Here’s what the now a little less frightened little guy looked like after I scooped him away:

When I picked him up, he finally began to uncoil. When I dropped him, he sat there stunned for a little while before slithering off toward freedom. And here I expected to have a nice, lazy Sunday afternoon.

You picked him up? You picked him up? OH MY GOD, I could never have picked him up. I don’t do snakes. Little ones or big ones. They scare me more than words can say. I would have had to call a firefighter or a neighbor, or the garbage man - but I wouldn’t be picking him up!

Or my Husband, don’t know why I didn’t think of him LOL But I am sure you get the point that it wouldn’t, couldn’t be me picking him up. I feel like Dr. Suess.

Yep, I picked him up. No firefighters, no neighbors, no garbage men, and no hubbie. LOL
Wasn’t so bad, plus I knew he was just a harmless garden snake. They’re just about everywhere down here.
