just what the title says…the web isn’t just for the sane anymore

Actually, quite a few medical professionals (and other survivors of word-processor-induced scribal deterioration) have taken measures to prevent or reverse the handwriting woes. Quite a few of them, in fact, tell me that they seek out help because they’ve learned the hard way that computers do not replace all handwriting tasks.

My *signature* is becoming pathetic. However, my handwriting is not. In fact, I started writing everything out in cursive several months ago, just so my handwriting wouldn’t become chickenscratch.
My students?
We might not want to go there.
Since I have to explain that “write” means to use cursive. “I can’t print?!” Oy.

LOL! I love cursive. (I wonder if they still teach D’Nealian…that’s what I learned in grade school.) Done properly, it can be so beautiful, but don’t get me started on my signature.
Personally, I think I just have an unfortunate combination of letters strung together; no matter how I write it, it still looks…off.
On a different note, I’m surprised kids nowadays don’t think “to write” means “to text message”. All things considered, I say take what you can get.

Frack. I killed my own entry. XD
It was because I threw in a carrot. I MEANT to ask - what IS that. HA! (;

ROFL!!! I retract my “Sweet” comment in light of new information.
D’Nealian is a style of handwriting. It’s very easy to learn and very simple — not as fancy as my cursive now, but it gave me a great start.
Check out the website for some samples.

OH! I think the D’Nealian Cursive *is* what I learned in third-grade. It looks like what I use… (For the most part)

Crap. I doubled posted. UGH. I hate that. >___

No problem, double post taken care of. It probably happened because my site seems to be crawling right now. Hopefully it’s only a temporary glitch.

I noticed that about your site. I kept wanting to kick it. (; But, then, it might have gone slower. Technology likes to spite me.
