Ramblings of the Mildly Insane

• Back home from class. Tired and sore. Going to watch a little t.v. while I enjoy some Chicken Parmesan and a nice glass of Chianti. #
• I’d love to stay up and chat with everyone, but it’s time I got back on my regular sleep schedule. Going to prep for bed. G’night tweeps. #
• I’m supposed to donate blood today but it was raining livestock earlier and it might again, so strongly reconsidering. #
• Then again, it would be so cool to give blood on Halloween. Who knows…the undead may stumble in while I’m strapped to a chair. #
• It’s official…Halloween’s canceled for S. FL. #

• It’s about time I started planning this new blog and ate some lunch. #
• @Trula – it’s not just about writing fiction…you can write a non-fiction novel. But, I hear you. So far, I haven’t completed it myself. #
• I’ve come close in the past, but not the full 50,000 word goal. Curious: are you self-publishing? #
• Twitter keeps eating my tweets – no fair. #
• @Trula – I know a novel is *technically* fiction, but for the purpose of NaNoWriMo, you can bend the rules a little. #
• @Trula – I also think it’s pretty cool that you have everything so…under control. You need to share your skillz. LOL #
• Currently backing up my laptop and *all* my websites to an external drive. Not fun by any means, but certainly a necessary evil. #
• Backing up my websites just made me realize that I *seriously* need to clean up my files. One back up alone was 2GB – yikes. #
• @DearYvette, @Balou – have a kickass time for everyone who isn’t able to party like middle-aged rock stars with you. #
• Finally done with the fall cleaning of my web hosting accounts and hard drives, and backing up. Time to say good night. Happy Halloween! #

Lately, it seems as though my mind has been racing a million miles a minute. Some days I feel very hazy, and I’ve also noticed that I’ve been making more small mistakes than usual. I realize, now, that it may be time for me to take some “me” time because it’s simply unacceptable. So, until further notice, my brain is on vacation. Thank you.

• Tried writing a few pages in my book, but became distracted by reading the full XHTML 1.0 and HTML 4.01 specs. Now, gonna watch Boondocks. #

• Coming home from dance, turned into the community and saw an ambulance followed by 3 service aide cruisers coming out. #
• Further down the street, another two service aide cruisers. Then, blocking entrance into my parking lot/house are 7 police cars. #
• One moved so I could get in, then I spotted yet another around the bend as I turn in (eight total). Cops now chit-chatting with each other. #
• Scary scene. Thought someone died. Unfortunately a little girl was missing. Fortunately, they found her. Now they have nothing better to do. #
• Now, it’s time to shower, eat, and finish an update to one of my scripts before bed. #
• Script update done. I can finally sleep (5:41am). Nice. #
