Ramblings of the Mildly Insane

• it’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood…going to transplant a few herbs trying v. hard not to kill them in the process. #
• came inside smelling of chives, lemon basil, and pepermint - suddenly I’m quite hungry. #
• going to eat some lunch and get busy with a few blog entries and setting up a new site (an experiment). #

• @andrea_r - I’ve never actually seen flowering chives before (first time growing them), so am definitely looking forward to it. #
• I have some interesting neighbors; stepped outside for a sprig of mint to make tea and heard her screaming "Oh YES OH YES OH YEEESSSS!" #

• Netflix is slipping — two shoddy DVDs in one week. One broken in half, the other was Atonement in Eastern Promises jacket. #
• Just finished yet another WordPress installation and discovered a bug with Post Previews lurking in its midst. #
• @dannysullivan - those results aren’t showing up for me doing the same query. Google may just be testing it out. #

After starting with a brand spanking new fresh installation of WordPress 2.5 on a new blog, I’ve smacked my head right up on another WordPress 2.5 bug — this time with post previews.

I started writing a new blog entry and hit the Preview this Post button only to be greeted by a big fat “Sorry, no posts matched this criteria” (404) error. Since I thought it was a fluke, possibly caused by the theme, I switched to the WP default and received the same error message. Double checked to make sure the post ID number matched the one showing up in the URL and sure enough, it did.

Now, this bug doesn’t rear its ugly head on any blogs I’ve upgraded — only brand new WP 2.5 installations. Oh, and I’ve also bumped into the image uploading issues that others have been talking about too. Guess I need to hunt down the plugin that disables the flash upload.
