Making Progress

Remember my saying I need to lose 30 pounds? Well, the scale (my newest best friend) has just informed me that I’ve lost 2 pounds…woo and hoo…nothing to write home about, but it’s progress.

Only 28 more to go. I’m pumped, I’m ready, let’s do the damn thing…and, and, and Barbara has decided to be my diet buddy! This is so exciting I’ve even created a category just for it (it’s called ‘the diet’).

Side Note: If I do manage to lose the full 30 pounds, it will be the lightest I’ve ever been since adolescence. So exciting. I’m almost excited enough to take before/after pictures…but notice I said almost.

So far, my routine consists of cardio three days a week (dancing), sculpting twice a week (pilates & free weights), and two days of resting. I don’t want to disclose my eating habits because, admittedly, they aren’t all that great. I still have a weakness for cheesy bread and chocolate.

Shedding A Few Pounds

Well, I admit it. I looked in the mirror and realized my ass has grown to massive proportions. Now, I wouldn’t mind having a J.Lo booty, but mine is just straight up ghetto booty…sooooo, my weightloss challenge begins.

I want to lose 30 pounds and get back in shape before New Year’s Eve, because the last thing I want on my New Year’s resolutions is ‘lose 30 pounds’.

I’m going to use my blog as my motivation, updating each week with the amount of weight I lose. So far I’ve been super good about my diet and excercise – no more lazy bastard moments for me :D – and it’s great incentive for me to pry myself away from the computer.

Tips? Suggestions? They’re always welcome…
